You are probably wondering, what does a St. Francis worship service look like during this Covid-19 pandemic? We have chosen to utilize Zoom as our platform for worshiping together. The service follows as closely as possible in person worship services. The hymns, prayers, responses and Bible passages are all presented on the screen so that you can worship with us. We gather together on Zoom before the service and check in with each other and share our concerns and our blessings. The banner image above contains a couple of screen shots from a recent service.
At St. Francis Episcopal Church, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service via Zoom by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.
When it is safe to gather together as a group, we worship at Holy Spirit Evangelical Lutheran Church. You will be greeted as you enter the the church and provided with a bulletin, Episcopal Prayer Book and a hymnal.
St. Francis is a mission church that is part of the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina which is part of the The Episcopal Church, USA. A mission church is small in number but strong in the holy spirit. We greet each other and care for each other as if we truly are members of God's family.
We follow the traditional Episcopal lectionary and celebrate the liturgical seasons with appropriate readings from the Bible and prayers from the Book of Common Prayer.
After the service, please hang out with us so you can become aquatinted with us.
